Subject: Hauling Permits (Amending the Vehicle Code Title 75)
 
In the near future I will be introducing legislation that would allow for the transportation of multiple hot ingots a distance of up to 125 miles.

Currently, under the Vehicle Code (Title 75), a hauler may transport only one hot ingot a distance of 25 miles. Technological advances in the manufacturing process currently allow for ingots to be shipped in multiple pieces, and the need for lengthier travel between manufacturing plants has become greater.
