Subject: Edward Kleha Memorial Bridge
 
I will soon introduce legislation designating a bridge in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County as the Edward Kleha Memorial Bridge.

Edward Kleha, who passed away March 8, 2018, lived a life of service to the Commonwealth and to the residents of Schuylkill County. He was chairman of the Schuylkill County Housing Authority and served on the board of directors for the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce, the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce Transportation and Government Affairs Committee, and the Schuylkill Economic Development Corporation. He was also a member of the Democratic State Committee and active in the Schuylkill County Democratic Party for many years, serving as chairman for 12 years.

Prior to his passing, Ed was my Chief of Staff for 15 years. His legacy is one of genuine care and commitment, especially to the people of Shenandoah and Schuylkill County. He is greatly missed by all who knew him.
