Subject: Proposed Resoltuion - "Sjogren's Syndrome Awareness Month"
 
I am planning to introduce a resolution recognizing the month of April 2019 as “Sjogren’s Syndrome Awareness Month.”

Sjogren’s Syndrome is a chronic autoimmune disease in which a person’s white blood cells attack the person’s moisture-producing glands and as many as 4 million American are living with this disease.

Although the symptoms are dry eyes and dry mouth, Sjogren’s Syndrome also causes serious complications throughout the entire body.

Please join me in recognizing the month of April 2019 as “Sjogren’s Syndrome Awareness Month


Introduced as HR142
