Subject: PFC Alton Glenn Sterner Memorial Bridge
 
In the near future, I will introduce legislation to honor Private First Class Alton Glenn Sterner.

The bill will designate a portion of State Route 2016 in Rockwood Borough, Somerset County as the PFC Alton Glenn Sterner Memorial Bridge. PFC Sterner was a native of Rockwood and served in the U.S. Army 5th Regimental Combat Team during the Korean War. PFC Sterner was killed in action in service of his country on June 19, 1953.

Please join me in sponsoring this important piece of legislation in order to honor a fallen soldier.
