Subject: Prohibition on Use of Handheld Electronic Devices within a Construction Zone
 
Please support my legislation that would amend Title 75 (Vehicles) section 3326, making the use of handheld electronic device within an active construction zone a summary offense.

We all know how hazardous distracted driving can be, but the activity is even more egregious within a construction zone when highway workers are present. I'm introducing this legislation in order to provide another layer of protection for these workers.

I would appreciate your co-sponsorship of this legislation.
