Subject: Caretaker Investigation Data Management Act
 
I will be introducing legislation that will provide for data collection of reports of elder abuse by caretakers. The data of substantiated abuse reports will be available to the public on the PA Department of Aging, the PA Department of Health, and the PA Department of Human Services’ websites, and it will be updated annually.

Pennsylvania has a responsibility to protect the care-dependent people of the Commonwealth and be able to hold the caretakers accountable.

Please join me and co-sponsor this important legislation.
