Subject: Human Resource Professionals Week - October 22-26, 2018
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation recognizing October 22-26 as Human Resource Professionals Week in Pennsylvania.

Human resource professionals are vital to the operation of every workplace, business, and industry in the Commonwealth, both public and private. They protect both our workers and our employers, and ensure that work environments are safe, welcoming, and effective.

Governor Wolf has recently issued an executive proclamation recognizing the week of October 22nd for this purpose, and this legislation will allow the General Assembly to join in recognizing these vital professionals in our state.

Please join me in cosponsoring this legislation.
