Subject: Marine Lance Corporal Darrell Magruder Memorial Bridge
 
In the near future, I will introduce legislation to honor Marine Lance Corporal Darrell Magruder.

The bill will designate a portion of State Route 36 in Bedford County, as the Marine Lance Corporal Darrell Magruder Memorial Bridge.

A native of Bedford County, Marine Lance Corporal Darrell Magruder served in Vietnam with H Company, Second Battalion, 3rd Marine Division.

He was killed in action in Vietnam on April 19, 1966.
