Subject: Recognizing Dec. 7, 2017 as “Great Law Day” in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, we plan to introduce a House Resolution to recognize December 7, 2017 as “Great Law Day” in Pennsylvania.

This resolution recognizes the series of statutes known as the Great Law enacted by Pennsylvania’s first legislature in 1682. This action set in motion the principle of representative government for the citizens of Pennsylvania and provided for the foundation of a stable government for the Commonwealth.
