|Subject:||Resolution recognizing May 25, 2017 as “Red Nose Day” in Pennsylvania.|
|In the near future, we intend to introduce a resolution recognizing May 25, 2017 as “Red Nose Day” in Pennsylvania.
Twenty five years ago, the Walgreens Boots Alliance began Red Nose Day to provide essential services to children in impoverished communities all around the world. In 2016, nearly 3 million children all around the world were provided food, clothing, shelter, medical care, tuition, supplies, and textbooks because of the efforts of Red Nose Day.
In America, Red Nose Day has raised over $60 million to help kids and young people most in need.
We hope you will join us in co-sponsoring this resolution recognizing May 25, 2017 as “Red Nose Day” in Pennsylvania, acknowledging the positive impact Red Nose Day has on children living in poverty in Pennsylvania, the United States and around the world.
