Subject: Resolution - Building Safety Month
 
In the very near future, I will be introducing a resolution to designate May 2017 as Building Safety Month in Pennsylvania.

Building Safety Month is sponsored by the International Code Council and the Pennsylvania Association of Building Code Officials along with all of the other ICC Chapters in Pennsylvania, to remind the public about the role of our local code officials.

“Code Officials—Partners in Community Safety and Economic Growth” the theme for Building Safety Month 2017, encourages all Pennsylvanians to raise awareness of the importance of building safety and resilient construction, fire prevention, disaster mitigation, and new technologies in the construction industry.

Please join me in cosponsoring this resolution.
