| Subject: | Designating the Week of April 24 through 28, 2017, as “Week of the Young Child” in Pennsylvania |
| In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing the week of April 24 through 28, 2017, as “Week of the Young Child” in Pennsylvania. The United Way and the York Area Association for the Education of Young Children and other local organizations, in conjunction with the National Association for the Education of Young Children, are celebrating the “Week of the Young Child” from April 24 through 28, 2017. All young children and their families deserve access to high-quality early education and care. These organizations are working to improve early learning opportunities, which are crucial to the growth and development of young children, and a path to building better futures for everyone. Please join me in celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families by co-sponsoring this important resolution. |
