Subject: Co-sponsor: Setting medical fees
 
In the near future, I will be re-introducing legislation (HB774) which will allow for setting medical fees.

The request for legislation was brought to my attention by my constituent, Dr. Joseph Rudolph, to enable patients and health care providers to know the cost associated with medical tests and procedures prior to having the test and/or procedure ordered. With an informed medical provider and patient, this bill would allow for decreasing patient health care expenses and insure access to any willing payer to any health care facility in the Commonwealth.
