Subject: American Music Month - November 2017
 
Music is often described as the universal language, is one of the great arts and the value of music is recognized as a source of enrichment for our lives, bringing people from different places together. The annual Parade of American Music, sponsored by the National Federation of Music Clubs, is featured throughout the month of November giving recognition to America’s music traditions and encouraging and supporting American musicians.

This legislation will designate November 2017 as American Music Month.
