Subject: | Gaming Control Board and Executive Branch Appointments - Formerly House Bill 551 |
In the near future, I plan to re-introduce legislation amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes (formerly House Bill 551) Specifically, this legislation would place restrictions on the appointment of legislators and Executive-level public employees to the Gaming Control Board. It will establish that no member of the Senate, House of Representatives or an Executive-level public employee shall be eligible for appointment as a member of the Gaming Control Board during the term of office for which the person was elected/employed and for a period of twelve months thereafter. I appreciate your consideration of this legislation. Previous Co-sponsors: Baker, Saccone, Rapp, Tallman, Watson, Cutler, Marsico, Grove, Murt, Metcalfe, Lawrence, Hickernell and Benninghoff |
