|Subject:||National Police Week in Pennsylvania May 2017|
|In the very near future, I plan to introduce a resolution to designate May 14th through May 20th, 2017 as National Police Week in Pennsylvania designating May 15, 2017 as “Police Officers Memorial Day in Pennsylvania”.
When President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation in 1962 it designated May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day and that week of which that date fell as Police Week. I hope that you will join me in co-sponsoring this important resolution.
