MEMORANDUM

Posted: December 1, 2016 01:14 PM
From: Representative Dan Moul
To: All House members
Subject: Cyber Schools Prior HB 1943

In the near future, I plan to re-introduce legislation specifying that neither the Commonwealth nor a school district will be required to provide funding for a student attending a cyber charter school if the school district or intermediate unit in which the student resides operates or has entered into a contractual agreement with a cyber charter school. The bill also adds that a student may be charged tuition if he enrolls in a cyber charter school outside of those that are operated or contracted by the school district or intermediate unit in which he resides.

DM/so

Introduced as HB935
