| An estimated 142 million Americans over the age of 40 experience vision problems. People of all ages are living with vision problems that are correctable through proper professional eye care. The American Optometric Association (AOA) observes “Save Your Vision Month” every March to promote regular, comprehensive eye care from a doctor of optometry. The gift of sight is often taken for granted. Research shows that adults with healthy vision are more productive at work and more socially engaged. The AOA is calling on leaders in all areas to encourage others to take proper care of their vision. Please join me in recognizing the efforts of the AOA and encourage all Pennsylvania residents to become more aware of the importance of obtaining regular eye examinations and maintaining good eye health. |
