In the near future I plan to introduce an updated voter ID proposal, which will protect the integrity of our electoral process. This legislation will retain the current absentee voting ID provisions included in Act 18 of 2012, which were upheld by the Commonwealth Court. The bill will also propose an in-person voter ID requirement that allows a voter to present one of a number of photo or non-photo ID. Specifically, my proposal will require each voter who casts a vote in person to present one of the following forms of ID. Voters who do not possess a form of photo ID listed below may present one of the forms of non-photo ID listed below, so long as the ID includes the name and address of the voter.
