From: Representative Russ Diamond
To: All House members
Subject: Designating a Portion of State Route 422 in Lebanon County as the Officer Michael H. Wise II Memorial Highway

In the near future, I will be introducing legislation to honor Officer Michael H. Wise II. This legislation will designate a portion of State Route 422 in Lebanon County as the Officer Michael H. Wise II Memorial Highway.

Officer Wise was a native of Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Cedar Crest High School in 1990. He then graduated from the Center for Emergency Medicine in Pittsburgh in 1993.

Officer Wise also attended the Reading Police Academy & was hired as a police officer by the City of Reading in 2002. While serving in the line of duty, he was tragically killed during an undercover operation in 2004.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this important piece of legislation.
