Subject: Taxpayer Recognition Day
 
In the near future, I will introduce a resolution designating April 15 as Taxpayer Recognition Day. It is through the money collected from the taxpayers of this Commonwealth that we as legislators appropriate funding for programs and services. Be it not for the intelligence and ingenuity of these hardworking Pennsylvanians, state government could not exist.
Designating April 15 as Taxpayer Appreciation Day is just a small measure to say thank you to Pennsylvania’s taxpayers and recognize their diligence and hard work.
