Subject: Bridge Designation - "Private Warren Snyder Memorial Bridge"
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation designating a bridge on that portion of State Route 147 over the Wiconisco Creek, Millersburg Borough, Dauphin County, as the "Private Warren Snyder Memorial Bridge."

Private Warren Snyder, a native of Millersburg, entered the United States Army in May 1944. In November 1944, he was sent to Germany to join the 121st Infantry.

Private Snyder was reported missing in action on December 7, 1944, during the Battle of the Huertgen Forest. He was reported killed in action on December 19, 1944, having courageously made the ultimate sacrifice for his country.
