Subject: Former HB 2069 - "Mug Clubs"
 
Please be advised that in the near future I plan to introduce legislation to amend the Liquor Code.

My legislation would allow liquor licensees to offer discounts on food and malt or brewed beverages to patrons who are part of a bona fide club or group program that the licensee offers. These clubs are often referred to as “Mug Clubs” and many restaurants and breweries have begun offering discounts and disproportionate serving amounts to members of the clubs. Currently, the Liquor Code prohibits such discounts being offered.
