Subject: Drug Free School Zone Law Include Libraries
 
In the near future I plan to introduce a bill that will amend the Drug Free School Zone law (18 Pa.C.S.A. Sec. 6317) to include libraries. Libraries need to be a safe haven for our youth just as schools, recreation centers, and playgrounds are. Libraries are not always associated with a school but, should still have the same Drug Free School Zone designation.
