Subject: Farmland Preservation License Plates
 
I plan to introduce legislation providing for special farmland preservation license plates. The fee for this plate will be $35, of which $15 will be deposited into the Agricultural Conservation Easement Purchase Fund. These plates will be available to any car or other vehicle with a registered gross weight of not more than 9,000 pounds.
