Subject: Co-Sponsorship - Increase Jail Time for Sex Offenders and Predators
 
I plan to re-introduce legislation from last Session (HB 1233) which would amend Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) and Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) in regards to offenses against infant persons and increasing the penalties for the offenses.

The legislation would increase the penalties for persons convicted of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, failure to comply with registration or sexual offenders requirements, sentences for offenses against children as well as changes in language dealing with GPS (global positioning system) tracking devices for offenders.

Introduced as HB184
