Subject: Sales Tax Holiday
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation authorizing a Sales and Use Tax holiday for school supplies, personal computers and computer-related accessories. My legislation will amend existing law contained in the Tax Reform Code related to the previously expired computer-related sales tax holiday. My bill will also add a new exclusion period for school supplies. Both proposed holidays will coincide over the first weekend of August 2015.
