Subject: Changing the term limit for Township Supervisors from six to two years
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation amending the Second Class Township Code to shorten the term of Township Supervisors from the current six years to a term of two years. I feel that by shortening the term we can encourage more people to serve their communities in the roll of Township Supervisor. My legislation will not change the current length of term of supervisor’s in office, but will take effect after their next election.
