Subject: Proposed Legislation to Amend the Liquor Code
 
In the near future I plan to introduce legislation to amend the Liquor Code.

My legislation would allow limited distilleries to participate in distilled spirits and wine festivals throughout the Commonwealth. In addition, my legislation would allow these licensees to obtain a special permit to sell their products at Farmers’ Markets throughout PA. I am introducing this legislation because the purpose of the limited distillery license was to have a distilled spirits license that would mirror the privileges granted to our limited winery licensees. The privileges that my legislation add to the Liquor Code mirrors those already enjoyed by limited winery licensees.
