MEMORANDUM

Posted: April 17, 2013 11:08 AM
From: Representative Dan Moul
To: All House members
Subject: Legislation to amend the Liquor Code

In the near future I plan to introduce legislation to amend the Liquor Code.

My legislation will allow limited winery licensees to own and operate a restaurant or hotel license anywhere in the Commonwealth. The Liquor Code currently allows limited winery licensees to obtain a restaurant or hotel license for the same premises where the limited winery is located; however, it does not allow these licensees to own multiple restaurants or hotels at other locations. I believe these licensees should have the same privileges as other restaurant and hotel licensees which would enable them to own as many restaurant or hotel licenses as they choose.

Thanks in advance for your consideration and support.

Introduced as HB1477
