Subject: Co-Sponsorship- Provides for Waterways Conservation Officer’s duties relating to Title 75 (Vehicles).
 
In the coming weeks, I intend to reintroduce former House Bill 692.

The proposed legislation would amend Title 30 of the Fish and Boat Code to provide for a waterways conservation officers duties relating to Title 75 (Vehicles). The bill would grant further enforcement powers, as it pertains to vehicles and watercrafts as they relate within the scope of the duties performed by the waterway conservation officers. Currently, waterways conservation officers are not authorized with this power under provisions of Title 75.
