Subject: Liquor License Quota – Volunteer Fire Companies (Former HB 555)
 
In the near future, I intend to reintroduce former House Bill 555. This legislation would allow a volunteer fire company to obtain a Club Liquor License regardless of whether the quota in the fire company’s county is met. Currently, the PLCB does not take the Club Licenses located within a county into consideration when determining if the quota has been met; however, once it has been determined that the quota is met, the PLCB will not issue any new Club Licenses for that county.
