In the near future I plan to introduce former HB 299 and HB 301 from the 2011-2012 Session. |

Description: | Former HB 299, this legislation addresses Medical Malpractice Cap awards. The proposed legislation would amend the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error (Mcare) Act by capping awards for pain and suffering at $250,000 in all medical malpractice claims not involving gross negligence or acts of reckless behavior.
