House of Representatives
Session of 2013 - 2014 Regular Session

MEMORANDUM

Posted: January 7, 2013 10:50 AM
From: Representative Mark M. Gillen
To: All House members
Subject: Cosponsorship - Retired Vet License Plates - Prev. HB 2148

In the near future, I will be introducing legislation (previously House Bill 2148) that will authorize PennDOT to issue a license plate designating eligible veterans as “Retired.” Applicants must pay a fee of $20 to cover PennDOT costs and provide documentation as to their retired status.

Our veterans who have dedicated over twenty years of their life in service to our country, or who have retired upon receiving serious injury in combat, may now proudly display their retired status. It is my privilege to honor them in this small way.

If you have questions, please contact Michelle Clabaugh in my office at mclabaug@pahousegop.com or 787-8550.
