Subject: Co-sponsorship: Allowing for a Volunteer Dental License
 
In the near future I plan to introduce legislation that will amend the Dental Law to allow for a temporary volunteer dental license.

The current laws do not allow for out of state dentists to volunteer their services in our Commonwealth. This has become an issue for those areas bordering the Commonwealth and when national associations have their annual conferences in our Commonwealth. By allowing for the volunteer license, this legislation would help the underprivileged to receive dental care.

Volunteers would not be permitted to receive any remuneration and must have an unrestricted dental license from their state.
