Subject: Establishing a Farm Cidery License
 
In the near future I plan to introduce legislation that would establish a Farm Cidery License. 
Currently, the Commonwealth’s alcoholic cider makers operate under either a limited winery or a malt or brewed beverages license, and this legislation would not eliminate those options. 

Rather, it will provide a new opportunity aimed at elevating the fruit industry in Pennsylvania by giving those solely producing alcoholic cider a specific farm license.
