LICENSURE OF NONRESIDENT FARM PRODUCE DEALERS

                                  AN ACT

     Requiring the licensing of certain nonresident producers of
        unprocessed fruits and vegetables.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

        Section 1.  Unless there exists a reciprocal agreement
     between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the state of
     residence, all nonresident producers of unprocessed fruits and
     vegetables doing business in this Commonwealth shall be required
     to obtain a license to conduct such business in accordance with
     licensing provisions of the act of May 27, 1937 (P.L.901,
     No.241), referred to as the Farm Produce Dealers License Law.
        Section 2.  The Secretary of Agriculture is hereby authorized
     to waive the licensing requirements of section 1 if the state of
     the nonresident does not require a similar license of a resident
     of this Commonwealth.
        Section 3.  This act shall take effect immediately.
