PROVIDING FOR THE INAUGURATION OF THE GOVERNOR Act of Apr. 22, 1959, P.L. 54, No. 28 Cl. 71 AN ACT Providing that the inauguration of the Governor-elect of the Commonwealth shall be held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. (Title amended Dec. 30, 1970, P.L.946, No.296) The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows: Section 1. The inauguration ceremony and the taking of the oath of office by the Governor-elect of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall be held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, at a site to be selected by the Governor-elect, on the third Tuesday of January next ensuing his election.
