PROVIDING FOR APPEALS FROM CITY CIVIL SERVICE BOARDS

                                  AN ACT

     Providing for appeals from the decisions of civil service boards
        and commissions in cities.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

        Section 1.  All decisions of the civil service board or
     commission in any city shall be subject to appeal to the court
     of common pleas or the county court of the county in which the
     city is located. The appeal may be taken, by any employe
     aggrieved thereby, at any time within thirty days after the
     decision has been entered of record.
        Section 2.  All acts and parts of acts are hereby repealed in
     so far as they are inconsistent with the provisions of this act.
        Section 3.  The provisions of this act shall become effective
     immediately upon final enactment.
