LEGISLATIVE REFERENCE BUREAU COMPILE LAWS ON MILITARY AFFAIRS
                 Act of Jun. 26, 1939, P.L. 1105, No. 388             Cl. 46
                                  AN ACT

     Authorizing and directing the Legislative Reference Bureau to
        compile, edit and publish, a compilation of laws relating to
        soldiers, sailors and marines, their dependents, and war
        veteran organizations; and making an appropriation.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

        Section 1.  The Legislative Reference Bureau is hereby
     authorized, and its duty shall be, to compile, edit and publish
     a pamphlet containing a compilation of the laws of Pennsylvania
     relating to soldiers, sailors, marines, their dependents, and
     war veteran organizations. A copy of said pamphlet shall be made
     available to each post, camp or chapter in this Commonwealth, of
     the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, the American
     Legion, the United States Spanish War Veterans, the Grand Army
     of the Republic, and the Disabled Veterans of the World War.
        Said pamphlet shall be completed and available for
     distribution, on or before the first day of January, one
     thousand nine hundred and forty.
        Section 2.  The sum of one thousand five hundred dollars
     ($1,500), or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby
     specifically appropriated to the Legislative Reference Bureau,
     to pay the compensation of assistants, and all costs and
     expenses incurred by the bureau in carrying out the provisions
     of this act.
