Short Title:
A Resolution directing the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to review the unemployment compensation tax system as it relates to the distribution of charges to employers and the adjustments based on experience rating, to investigate possible revisions to the unemployment compensation tax formula, including examining methods employed in other states, to hold hearings, take testimony and make investigations at such places in this Commonwealth as it deems necessary, to have the power to administer oaths and affirmations to witnesses appearing before it and to issue a report of its findings and recommendations to the House of Representatives by January 2, 2006.
