AN ACT
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in miscellaneous provisions relating to accidents
and accident reports, further providing for immediate notice
of accident to police department.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 3746(c) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 3746. Immediate notice of accident to police department.

(c) Investigation by police officer.--Every accident
reported to a police department [required in this section] shall
be investigated by a police officer who shall physically report
to the scene of the accident and shall provide each driver a
signed statement that the accident was reported.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
