AN ACT
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in licensing of drivers, further providing for
issuance and content of driver's license.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 1510 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
ยง 1510. Issuance and content of driver's license.

(a.2) Person with disability.--
(1) A person with a disability who applies for or renews
a driver's license or identification card and meets the
qualifications of section 1338(a)(1), (2), (3), (4), (5),
(6), (7) or (8) (relating to person with disability plate and
placard) or 1342(a), (b) or (c) (relating to veteran plates
and placard) may request that the department issue a driver's
license or identification card using the most recent color

photograph or photographic facsimile and signature or
facsimile of the signature of the person with a disability in
the department's possession.
(2) The department may not issue a driver's license or
identification card to the person with a disability if there
is no color photograph or photographic facsimile or signature
or facsimile of the signature of the person with a disability
in the department's possession. The department may require
additional information or documentation necessary to comply
with this subsection.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
