AN ACT
Making an appropriation from the General Fund to the Department
of Labor and Industry, Office for the Deaf and Hard of
Hearing, for the purpose of a Statewide program to facilitate
communication for individuals who are deafblind for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Appropriation.
The sum of $1,500,000 is hereby appropriated from the General
Fund to the Department of Labor and Industry, Office for the
Deaf and Hard of Hearing, for a Statewide program to facilitate
communication for individuals who are deafblind for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 2021, and ending June 30, 2022.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act shall take effect July 1, 2021, or immediately,
whichever is later.
