AN ACT
Making an appropriation to the Auditor General for the purpose
of establishing a bureau of election audits to perform
audits.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The sum of $3,100,000 is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund to the Auditor General for the purpose of
conducting postauditing, annually, periodically or specifically,
the accuracy of election results, the accuracy of equipment used
to conduct elections, the accuracy and performance of the
Statewide Voter Registration System, the accuracy of voter
registration lists, compliance with Federal and State laws, and
any other audit deemed necessary to ensure that the
Commonwealth's elections are open, free and fair, for the fiscal
year July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021, or
