AN ACT
Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in COVID-19 disaster emergency,
providing for personal protective equipment for polling place
workers.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 57 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subchapter to read:

ELECTIONS
Sec.
5751. Personal protective equipment for polling place workers.
ยง 5751. Personal protective equipment for polling place
workers.
(a) General rule.--The Department of Health shall provide
personal protective equipment to an individual working at a
polling place at the primary following the effective date of
this section.
(b) Definitions.--As used in this section, the following

words and phrases shall have the meanings given to them in this
subsection unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
"Polling place." As defined in section 102 of the act of
June 3, 1937 (P.L.1333, No.320), known as the Pennsylvania
Election Code.
"Primary." As defined in section 102 of the Pennsylvania
Election Code.
Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
