A RESOLUTION
Recognizing November 15, 2020, as "World Day of Remembrance for
Road Traffic Victims" in Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, RoadPeace first introduced a day dedicated to
remembering road traffic victims in 1995; and
WHEREAS, For the first 10 years after its inception, the
European Federation of Road Traffic Victims and its numerous
member organizations observed the day of remembrance; and
WHEREAS, On October 26, 2005, the member states of the United
Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 60/5, which called
for an annual "World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic
Victims"; and
WHEREAS, Nongovernmental organizations, stakeholders and
governments themselves now commemorate "World Day of Remembrance
for Road Traffic Victims" globally; and
WHEREAS, The goals of "World Day of Remembrance for Road
Traffic Victims" include providing a platform for road traffic
