A RESOLUTION
Designating May 8, 2020, as "Explore York County Tourism Day" in
Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, The York County Convention and Visitors Bureau
(YCCVB) is the official tourist promotion agency for York County
and is accredited by Destination Marketing Association
International; and
WHEREAS, The YCCVB actively markets York County to leisure
travelers, meeting and convention planners, group tour
operators, sports and tournament organizers and the media; and
WHEREAS, York County is known as the factory tour capital of
the world, offering 20 factory tours year round; and
WHEREAS, York County is also known as the snack food capital
of the world, with several snack food manufacturers, including
Utz Quality Foods and Martin's Potato Chips, operating in the
county; and
WHEREAS, York County's Mason-Dixon Wine Trail was listed on
