A RESOLUTION
Recognizing August 7, 2019, as "Professional Engineers Day" in
Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, Licensed professional engineers are dedicated to
applying scientific knowledge, mathematics and ingenuity to
develop solutions for technical, societal and commercial
problems while holding the public health, safety and welfare
paramount; and
WHEREAS, Pennsylvania licensed professional engineers have
made significant contributions on national, State and local
levels; and
WHEREAS, Pennsylvania's economy has grown, in part, due to
its licensed professional engineers who are instrumental to the
community; and
WHEREAS, This year will be the fourth national observation of
"Professional Engineers Day"; therefore be it
