AN ACT
Designating a portion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, known as the
Willow Grove Interchange, and Willow Grove Exit 343 at
Pennsylvania Route 611 in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery
County, as the Senator Stewart J. Greenleaf Interchange.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Senator Stewart J. Greenleaf Interchange.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) Senator Stewart J. Greenleaf entered the
Pennsylvania General Assembly in 1976 being elected to a seat
in the House of Representatives to serve the 152nd District.
(2) After serving only one term in the Pennsylvania
House of Representatives, Senator Greenleaf was elected to
the Pennsylvania Senate in which he would go on to be
reelected seven times.
(3) Before his retirement in 2019, Senator Greenleaf had
the honor of being the longest-serving member of the Senate
